The EmoryCard is your
borrower card.
To obtain an EmoryCard, visit the EmoryCard Office in
the Dobbs University Center between 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

If you have a question about your borrower eligibility, go
to the Woodruff Library Circulation Desk with appropriate
ID. Woodruff staff will determine status and assess fees as
needed.
- Students, faculty, and staff of Emory University
- Spouses and domestic partners of students, faculty,
and staff
- Children under 18 of students, faculty, and staff
- Retired faculty and staff
- All registered alumni
- Affiliates of Emory University and visiting scholars
(Privileges granted on the basis of affiliation or fees)
- Center for Disease
Control, Marcus Development, National Faculty, Clinical
Pastoral Staff, Scholar's Press, Veteran's Administration
Medical Center have general checkout privileges.
- Carter Center staff, Carter Center interns, Crawford
Long Hospital staff, Druid High School faculty, Egleston
Hospital staff, Emory Clinic staff, Glen Memorial United
Methodist Church staff, Emory Hospital staff, Fernbank
Elementary staff, Grady Hospital staff, Wesley Woods Hospital
staff, Yerkes Primate Center staff have full Emory circulation
privileges.

- Carter Library, Druid Hills High School Students

have general checkout privileges.
- The University Center of Georgia (Participating
institutions students, faculty, and staff with a valid
Interlibrary Use Card)
- Agnes Scott, Atlanta College of Art, Atlanta
University Center (Clark-Atlanta, Morehouse, Morris-Brown,
Spelman), Brenau University, Clayton State College,
Columbia Theological Seminary, Institute of Paper & Science
Technology, Kennesaw State University, Mercer University,
Oglethorpe University,
Southern Polytechnic, State University of West Georgia
have general checkout privileges.
- GETS (University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, and
Georgia State University) participating institutions' students,
faculty, and staff
- To register as a borrower at Emory University
General Libraries, you will need a valid ID from your
institution.
- Register in person at the Woodruff Library Circulation
Desk. Your borrowing eligibility will be verified
by contacting
your library's circulation staff so please coordinate
your registration when both Emory and your library
are open.
- Eligibility lasts until the end of the semester for
students and for one year for faculty.
- Loans: up to 25 books may be checked out at a
time for a 28 day loan period. Normal circulation
restrictions
will apply.
- Renewals can be made online at User
Services as long as your registration is current.
To update your privileges, please come in person to the
CLAIR/Woodruff Library Circulation Desk.
- Records with overdue materials or fines will
be blocked and transactions restricted until the block
is
cleared. (You may pay your fines at the CLAIR/Woodruff
Library Circulation Desk.)
- Recalls: any item is subject to recall and standard
fines will apply. (See Fines
section.) Recalls may be placed by GETS patrons.
- Research databases cannot be accessed by GETS
patrons.

- The general public does not have borrowing priviledges
at the Chemistry Library
- Computer access is limited to Euclid and Public
Galileo workstations only. Research databases
cannot be accessed by general patrons.
