Inorganic Compounds Research Guides

The bulk of recent inorganic literature is comprised of monographs focusing on specialized topics within the field (a significant exception, the Gmelin Handbook of Inorganic Chemistry, is available here online, but not in print).

A single-volume text of considerable scope, Cotton and Wilkinson's Advanced Inorganic Chemistry, provides background for comprehending the current research literature.

The titles on the attached page feature broad subject coverage and/or compilations of numerical data.

Other subject-specific or survey oriented works may contain the information you need.

"Knowledge and understanding of the major information sources enable students and professional chemists to find needed information efficiently and on a timely basis."
- SOMERVILLE, A.N.
J. Chem. Educ. 1991, 68, 553.
