The James S. Guy Chemistry Library provides document
delivery to faculty, graduate students, post-docs, and visiting
fellows in the Chemistry, Physics, Math and Computer Science and Environmental Studies departments.
Document delivery is defined as retrieving or photocopying
journal articles, book chapters, books, journals, and other
materials that library users need for research and instruction. Items requested must be available in one of the Emory
University campus libraries. Document delivery is different
from Interlibrary
Loan.
To request an item from one of the Emory University campus
libraries, you must be eligible per the criteria above. Simply complete one of the online request forms below.
The request will automatically be routed to the James S. Guy Chemistry Library
staff and our student assistants will retrieve the item. You will be emailed when the item is available for you to pick up
at the Chemistry Library's circulation desk.
Our goal is a 24-hour turnaround time (Monday-Friday during normal business hours). We hope you will
understand if that is not always possible during peak periods each semester, or brief instances of short-staffing.
